Which terminal you use depends on where the cargo is going
The terminal you deliver to is decided by the carrier, and the carrier is decided by the destination. The document requirements above then follow from that terminal, which is why two terminals at the same street address can ask for different paperwork.
- Shipping a car to Nigeria: served by both Sallaum and Grimaldi, so the terminal options and the paperwork differ by carrier.
- Shipping a car to Ghana: routed via Grimaldi, and from 1 October 2026 subject to Ghana's vehicle standards, which must be met before the vehicle is shipped rather than after it lands.
